Adventure Place Employment Opportunities
Adventure Place offers a dynamic, enriching work and training environment. Our loyal family of staff, many of whom have been with us since our doors opened in 1972, can attest to the tremendous opportunity and personal fulfillment they have derived from working at an organization like ours.
Adventure Place employs administrative staff, teachers, early childhood specialists, and a team of child and family professionals including intake service coordinators, speech and language pathologists, psychologists, social workers, intensive behavioural intervention therapists, and board certified behavioural analysts. Our overall approach and unique staff participatory management system sets us apart. All of our staff members participate in planning activities through the development of annual goals and objectives. In addition, all staff members have opportunities to ask questions, discuss, and/or make recommendations about any aspect of the agency’s services or operations. A key aspect of the model is that job satisfaction is enhanced when staff members share decision-making responsibilities that determine policies and procedures within the agency. Adventure Place is committed to an environment of continuous learning and invests in professional development for staff. Working together in multi-disciplinary teams also allows us to learn from one another and collaborate in order to provide the most positive and effective experience for our clients. Most importantly, we at Adventure Place enjoy and believe in what we do. If you would also like to make a difference in the lives of children and their families, submit your resume and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org.
